Their unapologetic faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior was at the core of Shannon and Ted’s decision to create their family foundation. Both came from humble beginnings with parents who taught the importance of faith, patriotism, and family. The later in life the couple traversed, the more they appreciated the importance of those early lessons and the more they became determined to do their part to leave the earth a little better than they found it.
They believe that to whom much is given, much is expected in return, and accordingly the couple have directed that the funds of The Ted & Shannon Skokos Foundation be used to inspire, uplift, empower, and encourage others. Their earnest hope is to advance the Kingdom of God and shine a light that leads others toward the love of Christ. The faith-based organizations and projects supported by the Foundation are those focused on discipleship, encouragement, and education.
